One Mob – One Future
We acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout Australia; recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture; and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
The Story Of Walkabout Australia Foundation
The Walkabout Australia Foundation was established to help promote Australia’s indigenous culture.
Working with metropolitan and regional shows and the National Indigenous Cultural Centre, Walkabout Australia aims to build local indigenous culture, bush tucker, fashion, art, craft, dance and our 7D Cinema at participating Royal and Regional shows and raise funds for the National Indigenous Cultural Centre primary education language programs.
Walkabout Australia is a foundation deeply embedded in the spirit and history of Australia’s indigenous culture, we strive to encourage unity, respect, and understanding among all Australians.
We weave together traditional wisdom and modern perspectives to promote social welfare, protect the environment, and enhance indigenous culture and education.
Become an enabler for the chasing of dreams by supporting the positive promotion of indigenous culture, experience, art, dance, entertainment, bush tucker, enterprise, mateship, and love when you become a wallkabout Australia VIP Member.
